Founded in 1902, the United Singers Federation was founded to help perpetuate the strong Pennsylvania Dutch and German culture in the state through singing. The federation has had a long lifetime with many families being involved through the generations, all with a love for singing. Currently the federation encompasses choruses from across the state a variety of forms. Choruses consist of Men's choirs or Mannerchors, Ladies Choirs, and Mixed singing society. Our current president Dan Ginter from Altoona, hopes to continue the tradition of German choral singing across Pennsylvania.
